Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal, has announced that degree certificates for students who graduated in 2023, 2024 and 2025 are now ready for distribution.
According to the official notice issued on June 25, 2026, affiliated colleges can begin collecting the degree certificates from the University's Salt Lake office from June 30, 2026. MAKAUT has instructed colleges to send an authorised representative to collect the certificates and complete the collection process within 10 days.
The University has also asked colleges to carefully verify the certificates after collection. If any discrepancy is found, it must be reported to the Office of the Controller of Examinations by July 15, 2026, so that the issue can be resolved.
In addition to the latest degree certificates, MAKAUT noted that several grade cards and certificates from previous academic years are still lying uncollected with institutions. The University has directed all affiliated colleges to collect these pending original documents by July 8, 2026, and distribute them to the concerned students without further delay.
Students who passed out in 2023, 2024 or 2025 are advised to stay in touch with their respective colleges regarding the distribution of their original degree certificates. Since the certificates will first be handed over to colleges, students should contact their institution to know when collection will begin.
